Watch this video to learn more about SMU student, Lily Smyth, and her project called “clean@smu”. She is working on a clean beauty initiative on SMU’s campus through the Caswell Leadership Fellows program. Clean to Lily means living and participating in a lifestyle of consuming products that do not involve animal testing or anything that could harm the environment or your skin. The Caswell Leadership Fellows Program encourages SMU students to plan and execute a real world project of their choice. These projects range from themes related to community, faith, greek life, leadership, the environment, and more. Students who are in this program can receive up to $2,500 in funding for their projects. The program is open to first and second year students and lasts a school year. Students who complete this program are able to watch their projects come to life both on and off of SMU’s campus and surrounding community.
